Businesses with an office based in the Square Mile of the City
can become a member of City Action. City Action solely facilitates skills-based employee volunteering and does not facilitate team challenge activities.

Joining City Action's free membership service offers a wide
range of benefits:

  • A dedicated Account Manager
for practical advice and ongoing support
  • A bespoke volunteer matchmaking service (for businesses with little or no dedicated resource for managing volunteering activity only)
aligns your business's values to volunteering
  • Exclusive access to our online volunteering database
a wide range of exciting options
  • Access to a volunteering partnership brokering service
enables longer-term and sustainable relationships with community organisations
  • Monitoring and evaluation of volunteer placements
ensures a quality experience for all
  • Free networking events
linking you to the responsible business community

City Action has a principle responsibility of supporting Small and Medium sized enterprises (SMEs) and businesses that have little or no internal resource for managing volunteering activity.

For businesses with dedicated Community Engagement staff, City Action will work solely on brokering longer-term partnerships and not ad-hoc activities.

Why should businesses get involved in the community?

City Action supports a wide range of businesses ranging from SME's to large corporations with their volunteering programmes.
