THE TEAM

Sophie Hulm
Corporate Responsibility Manager

Sophie is the Corporate Responsibility Manager at the City of London. She manages the City Action team as well as the City Procurement Project, the City of London’s own employee volunteering programme and the Lord Mayor’s Dragon Awards. Prior to the City of London, Sophie worked as a Project Manager for Heart of the City, a charity providing Corporate Responsibility advice to London-based businesses.

Sophie has a Masters in Corporate Social Responsibility and one day hopes to learn Spanish.

Sophie can be reached on 0207 332 1563

Davina Pilkington
Account Manager

Davina joined the City Action team in September 2008 after three years working in the third sector, starting at Student Volunteering England and then moving on to Volunteering England. During this time she organised and managed various profile raising projects and events, including collaborative activities with corporate partners.

In her role as City Action Account Manager, she particularly enjoys connecting people whose paths would not otherwise have crossed (a natural matchmaker), working across different sectors and being involved in the development of long-term partnerships. Davina also works on the City Procurement Project with Sophie.

When having a break from matchmaking, Davina gets her kicks from thrashing about on her drum kit. She's not quite ready for bookings though.

Davina can be reached on 020 7332 1753.

Emma Sirett
Account Manager

Before joining City Action in March 2010, Emma managed a portfolio of employee volunteering programmes at CSV (Community Service Volunteers) for a range of corporate and public sector clients. Emma’s involvement in employee volunteering began in 2003 when she worked for the National Trust supporting their employee volunteering programme, she then moved onto Volunteering England, where she delivered a programme of tri-sector events promoting best practice in employee volunteering, before joining CSV in 2005.

In her role as Account Manager with City Action, Emma enjoys the opportunity to promote the role of skills-sharing in long-term community investment and the challenge of partnership-building across the sectors.

Emma can be reached on 020 7332 1762.
